Grass to Glass

When the milk comes out of the cow it is warm so, the milk is cooled. Then the tanker comes and puts the hose in the big silo. Then he to the milk factory. And the silo is unloaded from the tankers before it pump it up to the factory.

The milk that comes out of the cow has lots  of cream and if you do not want cream it goes to the separator to get the Milk and cream are separated. And the milk travels from the holding tank then into this machine could the separate.

When the milk comes out of the cow it has Bacteria that makes the milk bad  to drink so it goes to the pasteurising room so the Bacteria is killed by pasteurisation the milk. And this when the milk seated up and push to this tiny hole and breaking up the skin milk and cream so they are all the same size.

Finally the milk is bottled, ready for you to drink. That completes the journey from grass to glass.

Walt: Use two strategies to solve number problems
What I had to solve in my maths class was 584+something equals 845 so I had to solve it and so I did place value so what I did was 200+500=700 then I did 60+80=140 then I did 4+1=5 then I add them altogether equals 845 then I did another strategies then I did tidy numbers and so I did 584+255=839 then I did 839+6=845 . Then I had to solve another problem and it was 27+something equals 74 so I did place value so what I did was 40+20=60 then I did 7+7=14 then I add them altogether then it made 74.

Grass to Glass

Milking happens twice a day, when the farmer wakes up at 4am, then they milk it again late afternoon. But per day milking goes 7 to 8 minutes.Going to the milking shed.

Now day's, milking machines do all the hard work, but in the olden day's they had use by hand to milk the cows. But one cow makes 30 litres. Milking
So what I was learning about was what does the farmers do and so we had to write about it want they do so I learn't that farmers wake up at 4am and the go and milk the cows once a day. But I know that in the olden day's they had to milk the cows by hand.

Walt: Use two strategies to solve number problems
What we had to do was to solve this problem and it is 56+67+33=? then I work it out by doing place value and so I did 50+60+30=140 then I did 6+7+3=16 then I add them altogether then it made 156 then I had to do another problem then I did was 67+3=70 then I did 70+30=100 then I did 100+56=156 . Then I had to solve another problem and it was 48+something equals 173 so want did to work it out was 40+100+20=160 then I did 8+5=13 then I add them altogether then it made 173.

Walt: Use more than one strategy to solve number problems
What we had to solve in my math's class was 38+55=93 and how I got it was 50+30=80 then I did 8+5=13 then I add them then it made 93. Then I had to solve it and the problem was 17+ something equals 84 and it was 67 and how I got it was 60+10=70 then I did 7+7=14 then I add them then it made 84.

Adding Decimal Tenths

We a learning to add and take away Decimals tenths with my maths club so I would just show you one like 0.4 plus 0.8 equals 1.2.

Living in the farm

If I was living on a farm I would ride a motorbike because so I can go up the mountain and so I can feed the cows faster and the fat pigs that lives in the muddy ground that look like chocolate. All I could ride it to school. And do flips around the hills and riding down the hill so fast.

And also I could collect the eggs from the chicken and bake my own eggs for breakfast and bacon all and I could get money for collecting the eggs early in the morning or in the evening.

Playing with calves would be fun. Getting up early in the morning to feed them would be hard though. There would be so much milk to make up, then take to the calf pens and lift up into the containers for the calves to drink from.

What I was writing about was living in the farm and feed the pigs and collect the eggs from the chickens and. Milking the cows also riding a motorbike up the mountain.
